Pirate Restaurant

My final project for my Maya class was to design a pirate restaurant.
It's a little difficult to see all of the details because of the crap computers and the slow rendering times, but it's what I can muster.

Modern Gun

Hey, look!  It's a very similar gun!

I had to take the previous nerf gun from before and revamp it to make it into something more realistic looking.  Um... mission accomplished?
I still like it.

Leyendecker Styled Portraits

Wanted to get some paintings out last night, cause I haven't had much time to do it lately.  It feels good to just spontaneously start painting a couple small things.

These took about 30-40 minutes each.  I've been wanting to do some Leyendecker studies lately because I really love his paintings.  Obviously, these aren't studies from his paintings, just stuff from my head.  I'll do some regular studies from his paintings when I get the time.

Portrait done in a little over an hour. Thought of Leyendecker today and wanted to do something sorta resembling his style.

I wanna do some more Leyendecker studies whenever I have the time.

Ah, so another sketchbook has been completed. This one too a bit longer to complete, but it's done (and has been done for a couple weeks now. The tenth has already been started).

As an extra belated Christmas treat, I have some sketches from my Christmas adventure day yesterday.  I don't have any stories like I did last year, but I did see Sherlock Holmes and Tintin back to back.  Sherlock Holmes was pretty enjoyable, but like the first one, I wouldn't really get excited to ever watch it again.  Tintin was amazing, as expected.

So, I hope you guys have happy holidays and a great new year.  I'll continue to keep working...
