As an extra belated Christmas treat, I have some sketches from my Christmas adventure day yesterday.  I don't have any stories like I did last year, but I did see Sherlock Holmes and Tintin back to back.  Sherlock Holmes was pretty enjoyable, but like the first one, I wouldn't really get excited to ever watch it again.  Tintin was amazing, as expected.

So, I hope you guys have happy holidays and a great new year.  I'll continue to keep working...

Creature Roughs

A little something from an assignment I'm working on for school.  So, here are a couple pok... I mean creature designs for you today.  I'll have a couple fully rendered ones for you soon.

It's been pretty busy lately.  I'm currently working on my comic, and I'm also feeling a little bit of an artist development limbo, so there's that to deal with.  Wish me luck!

The Garrett Memorial Sketch Dump for March - July 2011

My Seventh sketchbook has been completed (2 weeks ago)!!!
I got a new computer recently, so I'm finally getting to scanning all of this stuff.

This has been dubbed the "Garrett Hunter Memorial Toned Sketch Book" from March 2011 to July 2011. It's named such because I got to meet Garret from Mega64 at AX and I didn't have anything to sign, so front cover, why not?

More Watercolor Fun

Got a little bit of watercolor for you guys today. :)

Above, are some mastercopies done from Alphonse Mucha.  Both the flat washes and line art are done entirely in watercolors.

Also decided to toss up some things I've randomly done recently.  A red afro'd man and Miss North.  Enjoy!

Random Sketches for 2/27/11

It's been a while since I've done a proper 'Random Sketches' update.  I haven't been doing much because, believe or not, I'm close to being finished my current sketchbook.  I'll be sure to post up a massive sketchdump when the time of that book's end comes.

For now, I have a bunch of pen and ink drawings, some watercolor, a couple from the actual book itself.
